This garment won first place for a competition from the Miami Fashion Institute. For this piece, I upcycled four denim jeans. The purpose was to use denim, which is generally known as a casual wear fabric, to be used in an avant-garde and high fashion way. I experimented with different ways to manipulate the fabric into new forms.
