This three dimensional book encapsulates my documentation of a day trip that my Integrative Studio class did of walking to the Brooklyn Bridge. I sketched studies of plants, artwork, and architecture that caught my eye. I also included some pressed leaves and my metro card from the field trip. The definition of what people tend to think of when it comes to what a book is was expanded through this piece. Instead of making it two dimensional, I created a book that stands up and has a 360 degree view. It changes the way that people can interact with it as they would not be flipping through the pages like a regular book.
